The Stuart Center’s Sacred Heart Transformative Learning Program is aimed at whole-person development, and dedicated to helping participating people be empowered and committed to Catholic social justice and global citizenship.
There are many aspects of consumption that, with simple changes, can have a significant impact on society as a whole. All of us have the responsibility to work together to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste and pollution, and shape a new Solidarity Economy.
PURPOSE OF THE TOPIC: Raise the awareness of communities and individuals in order to generate an alternative economy to improve living conditions and well-being with due respect to all human beings and mother earth with a local economic impact.
This session is the first of many offered by the Sacred Heart Transformative Learning Program.
